Córdoba CF and Levante UD drew 0-0 in their Liga BBVA matchday 15 encounter. The shared spoils mean that the Andalusian outfit are now on eleven points and provisionally out of the relegation zone, while the side from Valencia are in 14th place with 14 points.
Under heavy rain, the Nuevo Arcángel witnessed an incredibly tight first half. However, it was Córdoba who had the best chances to take the lead, however, luck was not on the side of the Blanquiverdes. Deivid's header from a little over six yards out was just wide of its mark in what was the best chance of the first 45 minutes for Miroslav Djukić's side.
After the break, it was Levante who enjoyed a chance to open the scoring. Andreas Ivanschitz produced a powerful header inside Córdoba's area, but goalkeeper Juan Carlos made a superb stop to keep the strike out of his net. In added time, Córdoba came close to a winner once again with a long-range effort from Borja García, but the ball missed its target and the match ended as it started; goalless.
