Exhibition is the best word to describe what happened in Malaga's first match in LaLiga World where, the Andalusian side began with a defeat (3-2) in the LFP World Challenge Tour against Deportivo Cali, champions of Colombia.
The excitement of both teams could be felt in the packed stadium, and they enjoyed an afternoon of football and occasion thanks to the local side and the team managed by Javi Gracia. With the score level at 2-2, both clubs left everything on the pitch to try and achieve the victory, but it was the hosts who seemed to have more luck on their side. In the 85th minute, Miguel Murillo launched a powerful and accurate shot that Malaga’s keeper couldn’t stop. 3-2 it remained and the trophy stayed in Cali.
