Javier Boñar was the most recent youth product from the Madrid club to make his first-team debut after competing in LALIGA FC FUTURES, following in the footsteps of other club legends such as Fernando Torres. The Madrid side come into this edition keen to return to the spotlight after falling just short of the semi-finals last year, having been knocked out by Sevilla FC, a rival they will face again in the group stage. Character, intensity and competitiveness are some of the hallmarks of a team that will be looking to recapture the great successes achieved in previous tournaments.

Lamine Yamal, Alejandro Balde, Gavi, Pau Cubarsí and co. already know what it’s like to shine in LALIGA FC FUTURES and now in the first team too, and that is what the new Barça generation, led by Hugo Galdeano, will be aiming for. The Barça side arrive to represent La Masía, one of the world’s finest youth academies, boasting a record of 12 titles in the Pamesa LALIGA FC FUTURES National Tournament. After being knocked out in the quarter-finals for the past two years, they will certainly be looking to redeem themselves and lift the trophy.

RCD ESPANYOL DE BARCELONA
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona
Espanyol are defending the title they won last season at the Estadio de la Cerámica, having beaten Sevilla FC in the final, and the club’s enthusiasm will once again be on display at LALIGA FC FUTURES, with the aim of going as far as possible. The Pericos will be looking to continue developing a youth academy that has produced some of Spanish football’s finest talents, and they return to Vila-Real to defend their title with a new generation of talented players.

REAL BETIS
Real Betis
The Verdiblancos can boast of having won the first edition of the Under-12 World Cup just a few months ago in Brunete, as well as having Javier Secano named the best player of that historic event. They will now be back at LALIGA FC FUTURES with the ambition of continuing to make their mark on the tournament. The Betis youth team heads into this new edition aiming to compete amongst the best once again and fight for the title. Their title in Brunete makes them one of the hot favourites.

Real Madrid will once again compete in the Pamesa LALIGA FC FUTURES National Tournament as one of the leading lights of Spanish youth football. La Fábrica will be aiming to secure their fifth title and maintain the high standard of play shown in recent editions, where stars such as Hugo Fernández and Alberto Ruiz shone in the competition. The Real Madrid youth academy stands out every year for its talent, technical quality and ambition in this prestigious tournament. The new generation, led by players such as Martín Casillas and David Sánchez, promises to make a big impression.

SEVILLA FC
Sevilla FC
Sevilla FC head into a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES with the ambition of taking that final step that has eluded them in recent years. The Sevillians were finalists in the previous two editions, demonstrating the enormous potential of a youth academy that remains one of the most highly regarded in Spanish football. Two seasons ago, they lost in the final to Valencia CF at the Estadio de la Cerámica, and last year they came very close to the title once again, only to lose on penalties to Espanyol. With talent, character and players with great potential, the Sevilla side will be looking to turn their runner-up finishes into glory this time around.

A leading youth academy in both domestic and international football, the Ché side are regulars in the final stages of the LALIGA FC FUTURES championships, in which players such as Javi Guerra and Diego López have featured. The Mestalla side won the title in Vila-real two seasons ago. In this new edition, the Valencians will be looking to lift the trophy after falling at the semi-final stage last season.

VILLARREAL CF
Villarreal CF
Villarreal CF are once again hosting LALIGA FC FUTURES with the aim of building momentum in front of their home fans. The Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa will once again be the setting where the Yellow side will look to showcase the dynamic, attacking football that characterises their youth academy. The support of the home crowd could prove a decisive factor for a club accustomed to competing at the highest level in this tournament, where they have lifted the trophy on several occasions, most recently in 2021. After falling at the quarter-final stage to Real Madrid in last year’s edition, the Castellón-based side are determined to go one step further and fight for it all.

ATHLETIC CLUB
Athletic Club
Athletic Club heads into a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES with the aim of continuing to demonstrate the strength of Lezama. The youngsters will be looking to progress beyond the group stage and compete amongst the best teams in the tournament. Intensity, character and commitment are once again the hallmarks of a red-and-white team whose philosophy impresses the whole world.

DEPORTIVO ALAVÉS
Deportivo Alavés
The Babazorro side arrive in fine form from Vitoria. Alavés will be aiming to reach the quarter-finals and improve on last season’s performance, when they faced a finalist and a quarter-finalist in their own group. The Basque Country’s renowned academy for young talent suggests that this tournament may well reveal a new gem for the future.

Getafe CF returns to the tournament in Vila-real with the ambition of continuing to grow and competing at the highest level against some of the country’s best youth teams. The Azulones will aim to take a step forward in this edition and make their mark in the final stages. Discipline, intensity and competitive spirit will once again define their participation.

GIRONA FC
Girona FC
Girona FC will tackle a new edition of LALIGA FC FUTURES with the ambition of becoming one of the tournament’s major revelations. The Catalan side will aim to qualify for the knockout stages and continue to establish themselves among the most competitive teams in youth football.

LEVANTE UD
Levante UD
Levante UD returns to LALIGA FC FUTURES after a four-year absence with the aim of showcasing the development of its youth academy. The Granota side will aim to compete at the highest level and position the club amongst the best U-12 youth academies in Spain. The young Granotas will be playing close to home, so they are sure to have a large number of fans supporting them throughout the tournament.

RC CELTA
RC Celta
‘Afouteza e corazón’ will once again be the hallmarks of a team looking to take another step forward in Vila-real. The Galicians return to LALIGA FC FUTURES ready to continue growing amongst the best youth academies on the national scene. Last season they came close to the quarter-finals with a strong group stage in which they faced teams of the calibre of Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona, and this season they hope to go one step further.

REAL SOCIEDAD
Real Sociedad
The young talents at Real Sociedad look up to players who are now making their mark in the first team, such as Jon Martín and Ander Barrenetxea. The Basque side will once again be one of the teams to watch at the 33rd Pamesa LALIGA FC FUTURES National Tournament. The Txuri-Urdin will aim to go further than last year’s quarter-finals and fight to be among the best in the competition. Their ‘made in Zubieta’ style of play and a youth academy with a strong presence in the first team will be their main assets as they go all out for glory.

CA OSASUNA
CA Osasuna
Tajonar remains one of Spanish football’s leading talent factories. Players such as Aimar Oroz and Iker Muñoz are a testament to the excellent development work carried out by a youth academy that continues to produce players for the first team. True to its competitive spirit and its motto of ‘never give up’, CA Osasuna arrives at LALIGA FC FUTURES ready to compete at the highest level in every match. The Navarran side will seek to demonstrate once again the character and personality that have made them a consistently tricky and difficult opponent to overcome.

RAYO VALLECANO

Rayo Vallecano’s historic season is also set to continue in LALIGA FC FUTURES. The Rayo Vallecano academy has been the birthplace of great players such as Coke and Cobeño, and a breeding ground for top talent in Madrid. Rayo Vallecano are keen to put in another strong performance in the Pamesa LALIGA FC FUTURES National Tournament after failing to progress beyond the group stage last season.

RCD Mallorca
RCD Mallorca will once again experience the excitement of LALIGA FC FUTURES, flying the flag for the club’s red-and-black spirit and passion. This youth academy, which produced a talent such as Marco Asensio, dreams of making its mark on the tournament once again and proving that the future, too, beats to the rhythm of red and black.

Elche CF
Elche CF returns to LALIGA FC FUTURES after several seasons away from the tournament, providing an extra source of excitement for the Franjiverdes. Furthermore, playing in the Valencian Community will allow the team to feel supported and compete close to home, with family and fans cheering them on from the stands. The Elche youth team is approaching this opportunity with enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a good impression in a tournament that brings together some of the most promising young talents in Spanish football.

REAL OVIEDO

Many years have passed since the Asturian side last competed in the LALIGA FC FUTURES tournament, but it is never too late to return. Santi Cazorla and Michu are players who came through the Carballón club’s youth system and stood out at the club from a young age. Real Oviedo will take part in this 33rd Pamesa LALIGA FC FUTURES National Tournament and will aim to showcase their ambition and talent to secure a place in the final stages.
