Jose Naranjo named Liga Adelante Player of the Month for February

Gimnastic striker Jose Naranjo (28 July 1994, Rociana del Condado, Huelva) has been named as BBVA Liga Adelante Player of the Month for February on the back of several stand-out performances for the Catalan side.

Naranjo got the month off and running with a derby goal against Girona FC in a 1-1 draw at Montilivi. The following matchday, his goalscoring instincts proved to be even more vital when he was on target against Elche CF in a 1-0 win. The 21-year-old forward was back amongst the goals in the 2-2 stalemate against RCD Mallorca and finally, he had a hand in the move which saw Achille Emana score last time out in the 1-1 draw against R.Valladolid CF.

This accolade, which is awarded by BBVA, the competition's main sponsor, and is voted for by the LaLiga.es writers, recognises the achievements of a striker who has seven league goals to his name and who has become a key man for a Nastic side that is gunning for promotion.
