Villarreal CF vs Real Oviedo (Matchday 1, 17 August)
Real Oviedo’s return to LALIGA EA SPORTS is reason enough to tune in, but this match could also see the emotional return of Santi Cazorla to the Estadio de la Cerámica, where he made his professional debut and enjoyed multiple stints before conquering the Premier League and becoming a two-time European champion with Spain in 2008 and 2012. A must-watch.
Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid (Matchday 4, 14 September)
Xabi Alonso came through the Real Sociedad academy and began his coaching career in San Sebastián, managing the club’s B team between 2019 and 2022, including a spell in LALIGA HYPERMOTION. His success with his boyhood club’s reserves earned him a move to Bayer Leverkusen, where he has since made history. This match marks his return to the Reale Arena, where he led the Sanse during the 2021/22 season.
Three Madrid matches in a weekend (Matchday 7, 28 September)

Matchday 7 will feature ELDERBI DE MADRID at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, as well as Getafe CF and Rayo Vallecano hosting Levante UD and Sevilla FC respectively.
Real Valladolid vs Cultural Leonesa (LALIGA HYPERMOTION Matchday 7, 28 September)
Regional rivalries often fade due to differing fortunes, but this season brings back one of Castilla y León’s most historic duels. Last season, Real Valladolid were in LALIGA EA SPORTS and Cultural Leonesa in Primera Federación. Now, with one relegated and the other promoted, the top two clubs in the region will clash once more in LALIGA HYPERMOTION.
Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona (Matchday 10, 26 October)
ELCLÁSICO is the most-watched club fixture on the planet. This edition brings a generational showdown: Lamine Yamal and Franco Mastantuono (both born in 2007), two stars of the future, will face off for the very first time. Years from now, will we look back on this as their historic first encounter?
Real Zaragoza vs RC Deportivo (LALIGA HYPERMOTION Matchday 12, 2 November)
Only a few clubs in Spain have lifted major silverware, and two of them currently play in LALIGA HYPERMOTION. Real Zaragoza have won six Copa del Rey titles, while RC Deportivo have lifted it twice and were LALIGA EA SPORTS champions in 1999/2000. A clash of Spanish football giants both chasing a return to the top flight.
Rayo Vallecano vs Real Madrid (Matchday 12, 9 November)
Madrid’s other derby is played in the working-class neighbourhood of Vallecas, as Rayo Vallecano host city giants Real Madrid. The rivalry pits humble grit against elite power, and the results have been closer than expected: since Rayo’s 2021 return to LALIGA EA SPORTS, Los Merengues’ four visits to Vallecas have ended in one win apiece and two draws.
Three matches in the Valencian Community in a weekend (Matchday 13, 23 November)
A perfect Mediterranean getaway weekend for football fans. The Valencia derby is back after Levante UD’s promotion, with a visit to Mestalla to face Valencia CF. Further north in Castellón, Villarreal CF host RCD Mallorca, while in Alicante, Elche CF welcome Real Madrid to the Martínez Valero.

The clash at the Alfonso Murube will pit a team from another continent against one from another country.
