Adrián resumes full training

Club Atlético de Madrid’s Adrián López, who suffered a fractured cheekbone on 19th of September in the UEFA Champions League encounter against FC Zenit, has returned to training.

For almost two hours Adrián took part as normal in the training session which didn’t feature any of the players called up for international duty. Meanwhile, his teammate Raúl García continues to recover from a sprained ankle and trained on the pitch, running and doing light ball exercises. Atlético currently sit joint top of Liga BBVA alongside FC Barcelona, and will face RCD Espanyol in the next round of fixtures following the international break, Saturday 19th of October 22:00KO.
