Another 'O noso derbi' game will take place on matchday 26 of the Liga BBVA as RC Deportivo host RC Celta at the Estadio de Riazor. The home side go into the match having put in a good performance in their last game against Real Madrid CF and having had a run of two wins and a draw in their last five games. In turn, Celta head to the Riazor in good form having beaten Atlético Madrid 2-0 on the last matchday. Emotion, sharpness and lots of energy will be ingredients in one of La Liga’s games of the year.

Squads

The blanquiazules playing at home, have a plague of injuries. Laure is out of the game due to a ban, whilst Toché, Juanfran Moreno, Germán Lux, Diogo Salomão, Sidnei, Luis Fariña and Hélder Postiga will be missing due to different injuries. Meanwhile, Celta go into the game without Hugo Mallo and Borja Oubiña, both of whom suffered serious injuries over the course of the last few months.

Thoughts of the coaches

"A derby game is special, it is not just another game. It means a lot of different things for the fans, a club is made up of its fans and players are in debt to the fans. Therefore, we want to impose our football. Although our tactics may vary, we want to have the ball and use it well”, stated the coach Eduardo Berizzo, in the press conference.

In turn, the Deportivo player Juan Domínguez stated that the "Galician derby is a festival of football in Galicia and it is always special. It brings together lots of fans and the atmosphere is different. There is something unique about it”.
