Elegance and joy came together in the event of the year: the ‘2014 LFP Awards Ceremony’. It was an occasion that got underway with over a thousand guests parading down the 23 metres of red carpet, in what would be the prelude to a dream night. They included footballers, athletes in various disciplines, the women’s national hockey team, representatives of women’s football, distinguished celebrities, artists and other sportspeople who wanted to be part of the biggest celebration of Spanish football.
More than 120 national and international media made sure the magical celebration was seen all over the planet. The football world smiled when thirty or so lights lit up the 25 stars of the evening. The joy of the winners was the main topic of their speeches, in which they paid tribute to their team-mates who helped them win their respective trophies.
The evening, which was full of humour thanks to Eva Hache and Dani Rovira, revealed the most human side of the footballers. The event rounded off an attractive Liga BBVA and Adelante and was a resounding success taht made the #PremiosLaLiga hashtag a Trending Topic for much of the night. The great Twitter Mirror tool, on which the stars of the evening left their autographs along with a snapshot, took the social networks by storm and was another example of the prominence of the ‘2014 LFP Awards Ceremony’.
