Six players from LaLiga Santander make FIFA Football Awards best XI

For another season, LaLiga's presence was strong at FIFA's The Best awards, which took place in Milan (Italy) on Monday evening.

Six players from the best league in the world made the cut for the FIFA/FIFPro World XI 2019, as voted for by 20,000 professional footballers from across the world. Leo Messi, De Jong, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard were all chosen in this year's best XI.

Alisson (Liverpool), Van Dijk (Liverpool), De Ligt (Juventus), Mbappe (PSG) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus) were the other players to feature in FIFA's strongest line-up from the past year.
