Having revealed the best Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante players, now it is time for the LFP.es editorial team to choose the managers. Men whose strategy, ambition and orders have produced impressive results for their team in December.

Marcelino García Toral. Five victories in as many matches were produced by Villarreal CF's coach in December. A total of three wins in La Liga, one in the UEFA Europa League, which took the team through to the next round, and another in the Copa del Rey mean that the Yellows were one of the hottest teams in the last month of competition.

Marcelino has always known how to get the best out of his team, and with his blend of youth and experience he has produced some spectacular football in the last 30 days, with the strings being pulled by Argentinian Luciano Vietto, a key figure for Villarreal, and a member of the LFP.es editorial team's Team of the Month.

Also, thanks to the knowhow of the man in the dugout, together with Real Madrid, the current championship leaders, Villarreal are the only Liga BBVA team to have produced a 100% record in the last month.

Carlos Terrazas. While in the Liga BBVA it was Marcelino's Villarreal who turned heads last month, in the Liga Adelante it was CD Mirandés. The side from Burgos has experienced a meteoric rise based on the results produced by their manager, Carlos Terrazas. In December, the Rojillos produced two victories and a draw that, together with their solid results from the month of November, mean they are now going strong in the middle of the Liga Adelante table.

The playoff positions are starting to become a realistic goal for the team from Miranda de Ebro with Terrazas in the dugout. The progress of Urko Vera has been a key factor in the manager's work, as he now boasts a striker who is firing on all cylinders and has scored eight goals in domestic competition. As well as contributions from the strikeforce, solid defending has also played a fundamental role, as the team has only let in two goals in their last five matches.
