LaLiga teams will know today their rivals in the Champions League group stage

LaLiga is prepared to keep making history in the UEFA Champions League. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Valencia CF and Sevilla FC, the five Spanish clubs in the tournament, shall know this Thursday their group stage rivals.

For the first time since the birth of the competition, five teams from the same country will be in the draw to be held at 17:45 at the Grimaldi's Forum in Monaco.

FC Barcelona, current champion, will be one of the seeded teams who will be in Pot 1 with Chelsea FC, FC Bayern München, Juventus, Benfica, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Zenit and PSV Eindhoven.

The Catalan side could face with teams like FC Porto, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal FC and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, who will be in Pot 2 along with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia CF. Meanwhile the two Madrid teams and Valencia will share group together with one of the top seeds of the Pot 1, except Barcelona.

Furthermore, Sevilla FC will be in Pot 3 along with Shakhtar Donetsk, Olympique Lyonnais, FC Dynamo Kyiv, Olympiacos FC, CSKA Moskva, AS Roma and Galatasaray AŞ, teams that could get in the way of the other four Spanish representatives.

The "sevillista" team, UEFA Europa League champion, will be paired with one of the seeded teams and one of the members of the Pot 2, except for the teams from the same country.

Last rivals for LaLiga teams will draw from Pot 4, which is to be made up of BATE Borisov, VfL Borussia Moenchengladbach, VfL Wolfsburg, GNK Dinamo Zagreb, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, KAA Gent, Malmo FF and FC Astana.

Pot 1: Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern, Juventus, Benfica, PSG, Zenit, PSV Eindhoven.

Pot 2: Real Madrid, Atletico, Porto, Arsenal, Manchester United, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester City.

Pot 3: Shakhtar Donetsk, Sevilla, Lyon, Dynamo Kiev, Olympiakos, CSKA Moscow, Galatasaray, Roma.

Pot 4: BATE Borisov, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Wolfsburg, Dinamo Zagreb, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Gent, Malmo, Astana.
