LaLiga ball is already rolling in Japan

Just a few hours after landing at Saga airport, Atletico de Madrid started preparing their first match for the LFP World Challenge tour of the pre-season in Asia. Cholo Simeone’s squad completed their first training session in Japan in the Saga Athletic Stadium of the Japanese town which is hosting the red-and-whites during their Asian tour.

Under the watchful eye of the Argentinian coach, the players for Atletico de Madrid adapted to the time change in a session where they mainly played the ball but in which there was no lack of tactics and intense physical work which characterize the first moments of the season.

Next Friday, Atletico de Madrid will go back to work with a double training session in the facilities provided by Saga´s City Hall. The match against Sagan Tosu will be held in the Best Amenity Stadium, in the nearby town of Tosu (12:00 Spanish time), where enthusiasts who packed out the arrival area at the airport and around the team’s hotel will be able to enjoy their idols´ plays.

After their stay in Japan, Atletico de Madrid will move to China to play their second match of the LFP World Challenge tour. Shanghai SIPG will be the rivals of the red-and-white in a game that will be played in this great Asian city next Tuesday, August 4th.
