Figo and Mendieta came back on the pitch

LaLiga Ambassadors, Luis Figo and Gaizka Mendieta, returned to the football scene. Both were part of the International Legends Championship, held this week in Shanghai and which is located within the 'Winning League Cup'.

Luis Figo, who worn the shirts of Real Madrid CF and FC Internazionale Milano in the tournament held in the Chinese country, ended up getting the trophy with the Whites after beating the Italian side in the final  (5-1). The Portuguese scored the first goal in the large win of the Madrid team.

This edition, which also had the participation of FC Barcelona and a Chinese selection, saw Mendieta scoring one of the goals of the tournament in the semifinals against Inter, who ended accessing to the final thanks to a great Toldo´s performance in the penalty shootout
