Alaves part ways with Luis Zubeldia

Luis Zubeldia is no longer the coach of D. Alaves. The club announced the decision on Sunday afternoon following a 3-0 reverse at home to Villarreal CF, a result which leaves the club bottom of LaLiga Santander.

According to a statement on the club website, Javier Cabello will take charge of the first team. The statement also thanked Zubeldia for his work at the club and wished him all the best in the future.
