Yoda to miss the next six months with Getafe

Pablo Franco's Getafe CF side will embark on the final part of the season without one of their most incisive men on the left wing following confirmation from the club that French player Karim Yoda will be out of action for the next six months.

Yoda, who joined the Madrid outfit in the summer, underwent an operation on his right knee after tearing his patellar tendon during the team's 2-0 defeat to Atlético de Madrid on Saturday and, as a result, will miss the remainder of the season. The Frenchman had made 18 appearances for Getafe prior to the injury and had scored four goals during his maiden Liga BBVA campaign.
