Villarreal CF coaching team enjoy Gold Coast

A day off for Villarreal CF's travelling party, as los amarillos’ coaching staff took advantage of the club's visit to Gold Coast to tour the coastal tourist city via land and sea, riding on the sightseeing bus known as "Aquaduck".

Despite it being the first day of winter in Australia, temperatures of 24 degrees brought fine conditions for them to enjoy the route and take photographs of the location’s unique sights. Villarreal CF boss Marcelino García Toral spoke to LaLiga after the experience of covering the city on board this unusual vehicle, and was positive in his assessment as he looked back over the first stage of the side’s LFP World Challenge tour in Australia.
