Team News:

- Valencia CF: Negredo (appendicitis), Rodrigo, Barragan and Diego Alves (injured), Bakkali (doubtful).

- UD Las Palmas: Ángel López,  Alcaraz and Javi Castellano (injured).

Match Facts:

Valencia CF (7th, 18 points):

- Despite the international break, Valencia wants to maintain the momentum achieved in the last few matchdays, in which it gained two important victories against Levante (3-0) and RC Celta (1-5).

- In front of Las Palmas, Nuno Espirito Santo's men are bound to win in order to regain strength to cope with their upcoming commitments with Sevilla FC, FC Barcelona and SD Eibar, all of them direct rivals.

- The Portuguese manager must rebuild the attack due to absences of Rodrigo Moreno and Alvaro Negredo.

- This will be the game number 2600 of the "Che" club in Liga BBVA, an anniversary it hopes to celebrate with a victory to get back in the UEFA Champions League places.

Las Palmas (18th, 9 pts):

- In the last Liga BBVA match, the team from the Canaries managed to get the three points again against Real Sociedad. The aim is not to change the dynamics of that matchday to finally take off this season and get out of the relegation zone.

- New manager, Quique Setién, wants to try different combinations to find the key to a team that aspires to stay in the top flight. So even if the opponent is tough and the match, away, Las Palmas hopes to take advantage of the Valencia's absences in attack to get a positive result.
