Asier Garitano's charges have however fared less well on their own patch, where they've managed to pick up just one point so far this term. The Madrid outfit will be keen to give their fans something to shout about by taking maximum points against Valencia.

- After what has been a challenging start to the campaign, Valencia are now beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. It would certainly appear as if Voro Gonzalez's appointment has given the squad a much-needed boost and Los Che will be intent on proving that victory over Alaves wasn't a false dawn.
