Cologne, the oldest city in Germany, will host one of the most prominent clubs in LaLiga, as is Valencia CF. The Spanish team is one of the guests in the Colonia Cup Tournament that will be taking place next August 1st and 2nd at the RheinEnergieStadion as part of the program of the LFP World Challenge. FC Köln, host of the tournament, and FC Porto, one of the historical clubs in Portugal, will be rivals of Valencia CF during LaLiga World events.
In this way, Nuno Espirito Santo's players will confront the Portuguese squad next August 1st at 5:45 pm. Valencia will play their second match facing the German team one day later, August 2nd, at 15:00 hours. Both games will be held at the RheinEnergieStadion with capacity for 50,000 spectators.
The presence of Valencia CF in this tournament is part of the LFP World Challenge project which objective is to gather the best professional clubs from around the globe in order to project the image of Spanish Football and to spread the values of the Spanish Brand internationally by way of LaLiga World events.
