Ahead of the match between Sevilla FC and CA River Plate, the directors of the two clubs, LaLiga officials and local business owners in Florida had lunch together at the Spain Experience event, taking place as part of the LaLiga World programme, aimed at promoting collaboration between Spanish and foreign companies and using football to bring them together.
Ignacio M. Trujillo, LaLiga's managing director of innovation and global development, explained the augmentative effect of LaLiga: "We are an influential organisation for Spanish and foreign companies; a great connection between business owners from different countries."
The vice president of Sevilla, Jose Maria del Nido Carrasco, made the most of the occasion to reaffirm the Andalusian club's commitment to the expansion and growth of the Spanish competition around the world: "We are active members in the internationalisation of LaLiga."
Also present at the event were Spain's commercial attache in Miami, Maria Jesus de Gonzalo Gamir, and Cristina Valladares Nuñez, a professional tennis player at Barry University, who said she was delighted to be able to spend the day with the Seville-based outfit thanks to the LaLiga World tour in Orlando.
