The National Stadium in Bangkok was the location of UD Almería’s training session on their last day in the Thai capital. Francisco Rodríguez's side finished their time in Bangkok as they continue on the LFP World Challenge tour to Phuket.
UD Almería played a training match against the Thailand U-19 side, winning 0-5, and it looks like their hard work this pre-season in Thailand is paying off.
"We are in pre-season and we’re getting into our groove as we approach the first league game. The important thing is to train hard everyday to get there. We are in a unique opportunity, getting to know a different culture and it’s a great experience for us", said player Edgar Méndez.
Also, coach Francisco received a traditional Thai gift as a form of thanks for their visit to the stadium. Once again, the Thai followers showed their warmth for Almería, and showed great admiration for player Teerasil Dangda.
From Saturday, UD Almería will be based in Phuket and will continue their tour as they face Phuket FC on 6 August at 14:00 Spanish time. It is a game that can be watched on La Liga TV.
