The Coliseum Alfonso Pérez is the stage for a direct fight for survival between two sides in desperate need of a win. Getafe CF are on 36 points while Granada CF are penultimate in the table with 25 points and are running out of time to salvage their precarious status in the top flight. New coach José Ramón Sandoval will be looking to get a response out of his charges in his first game in charge of the club.
Team news
Getafe recover Diego Castro and Pablo Sarabia, who missed the 6-0 thrashing at Barcelona, while Granada are boosted by the return of Rubén Rochina, Youssef El Arabi, Dimitri Foulquier and Juan Carlos Pérez. However, they will be without a total of five players for the game through injury.

Pablo Franco, coach of the azulones, spoke about his team’s frame of mind ahead of the match: "We are very keen to win and move on to 39 points, and to do that in our ground in front of our fans, because they deserve a bit of joy. We are very hopeful and aware of the importance of the game."
Sandoval, in his first press conference as Granada coach, admitted he had a difficult, but not impossible, objective: "We have to be brave and go all out for the three points in our first game, whatever it takes. We’re going to give everything."
