The excitement aroused by LaLiga knows no bounds, with Mexico the next country in line to be treated to a masterclass served up by the LaLiga Legends, as the former stars prepare to wind the clock back and represent the Spanish game in an exhibition match against a squad of Mexican ex-players.
The fixture, which takes place on Friday 31 March at 20:00 local time and 04:00 (CET) on Saturday, will see the retired LaLiga icons dust their boots off for a second instalment of the LaLiga Legends venture, following their maiden outing against an Iranian All-Stars side last August in Tehran.
The veterans are set to trot out at Toluca's stunning 30,000-capacity Estadio Nemesio Diez, an arena which hosted games during the 1970 and 1986 World Cups and is home to Deportivo Toluca FC.
This meeting between the former Mexican maestros and their LaLiga counterparts will be broadcast by FOX Sports, meanwhile followers can also catch all of the action live on LaLiga's website and via the institution's official Facebook page, whilst Spanish viewers will be able to watch a full match replay on GOL. This clash presents supporters from across the globe with the opportunity of seeing the star-studded LaLiga Legends squad strut their stuff against a Mexican side managed by goalkeeping icon Jorge Campos and featuring the likes of Jared Borgetti, Claudio Suarez, Zague and Francisco Fonseca. The encounter promises to be a real treat for footballing enthusiasts as the greats of yesteryear go all out to rekindle former glories.
