R. Betis (16th, 22 pts):

-Merino's Betis were beaten by Real Sociedad in their last game. The Andalusian side are currently on a run of two draws, against Villarreal and Real Madrid, and one defeat. Their aim is to get their first win of the Merino 'era'.

-The two teams shared a point apiece when they played out a goalless draw at Mestalla earlier in the season.

-Despite the defeat to Real Sociedad in their last game, Ruben Castro scored again, making him the team's top goalscorer on nine goals.

Valencia (12th, 25 pts): 

-Gary Neville's Valencia have yet to win a game in the Liga BBVA. Their record since the coach's arrival in the Mestalla dugout is five draws and three defeats.

-Valencia face FC Barcelona in the return leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie on 10 February. Barcelona ran out 7-0 winners in the first leg at the Camp Nou.

-Valencia's last win came on the road when they thrashed RC Celta 5-1 at Balaidos. Eleven matches later, Neville's charges are still looking for a win.

Do not leave town without visiting the 22nd International Flamenco Fashion Show (SIMOF 2016). It is on from Thursday 4 until Sunday 7 February at the Seville Exhibition and Conference Centre.
