This is how the 2014/15 season will look

Both Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante will start on the 24th of August.

The proposed calendar for the 2014/15 Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante seasons has been approved by clubs and will be presented to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) by the Liga de Fútbol Profesional for approval. Both competitions will start on the 24th of August and end on the 24th of May and the 7th of June respectively.

The Liga BBVA will have three midweek matchdays:

- The first of which will be the fifth, on Wednesday the 24th of September.
- The second will be on the 8th of April, matchday 30.
- The final will be the 29th of April, matchday 34.
- The calendar has reserved five dates for international fixtures, including UEFA EURO 2016 qualifiers.
- Real Madrid CF will play in the FIFA Club World Cup, and will play their matchday 16 fixture on the 4th of February. Also, the team will play the first leg of the Copa del Rey fourth round on the 29th of October and the return leg on the 3rd of December.

The Liga Adelante will also start on the 24th of August. After the 42 championship matchdays have been played, the promotion playoffs will take place. The first legs of the first round of the playoffs will be played on the 10th of June, and the return legs on Sunday the 14th of June. The second round will be played on Wednesday the 17th of June and Sunday the 21st.
