Diego Pablo Simeone is aware of the importance of this match. "This is not just any other game because this is against a direct rival for third place", accepted the Atleti boss. Valencia's Portuguese coach stated that his team will be approaching this game "as any other", but admitted that taking on the reigning Liga BBVA champions is extra motivation for his players. He also spoke about what his main concerns are about Atlético: "They worry us in every aspect, they are a great side with a great manager. I expect it to be a hard-fought and intense game".
