Villarreal CF and Athletic Club, the two representatives of LaLiga in the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League, already know their opponents for the group stage of the competition after the draw held in Monaco this Friday.
Villarreal have been drawn in Group E, where they will face FC Viktoria Plzeň, SK Rapid Wien and FC Dinamo Minsk . Meanwhile, Athletic will face in Group L with AZ Alkmaar , FC Augsburg and FK Partizan.
The team from Castellon and the Basque side will seek to follow the trail of Sevilla FC , champion of tournament in the last two seasons , and keep putting the name of laLiga on top of European football.
So the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League groups have been configured as follows:
Grupo A: Ajax, Celtic, Fenerbahçe, Molde.
Grupo B: Rubin, Liverpool, Girondins, Sion.
Grupo C: Borussia Dortmund, PAOK, Krasnodar, Qäbälä.
Grupo D: Napoli, Brugge, Legia, Midtjylland.
Grupo E: Villarreal, Viktoria Plzeň, Rapid Viena, Dinamo Minsk.
Grupo F: O. Marsella, Braga, Liberec, Groningen.
Grupo G: Dnipro, Lazio, Saint-Ètienne, Rosenborg.
Grupo H: Sporting CP, Besiktas, Lokomotiv, Skënderbëu.
Grupo I: Basel, Fiorentina, Lech, Belenenses.
Grupo J: Tottenham, Anderlecht, Monaco, Qarabag.
Grupo K: Schalke, APOEL, Sparta, Asteras.
Grupo L: Athletic, AZ Alkmaar, Ausburg, Partizan.
