The parents of the colombian player Bacca visit the Sevilla FC under-12 side

It is clear that this has been a very special edition of the Promises Tournament for Sevilla FC. Firstly, because they were crowned champions of the national phase, and secondly because they travelled to the city where one of their idols, Carlos Bacca, was born.

The parents of the Colombian player watched from the dugout as the Sevilla FC side made their debut at the Estadio Metropolitano de Barranquilla, with a 1-5 win against Atlético Nacional. The little child Carlos Daniel, who is the player's oldest son also received everyone’s affection.

Eloísa Ahumada and Gilberto Bacca wanted to personally give their family's support to Sevilla's under-12 players, and were surrounded by several local media outlets. In the quiet surroundings of the dressing room, the players were able to talk in peace with Bacca’s parents and they asked questions about what Carlos was like as a child and how he has adapted to LaLiga. They also asked about the future of the player from Puerto Colombia when faced with offers from other clubs.

Soon after the game, Carlos Bacca himself sent a message on social network from Chile where is playing in the Copa América, offering his support to Sevilla FC's Under-12 side: "I want to send all my support from Chile to Sevilla FC. To all of the children who are going to participate in the tournament, a big hug. Welcome to Barranquilla and feel at home here".

Bacca's family know how difficult it is to triumph in the world of football and that is why his mother Eloísa did not hesitate to give one last piece of advice to all of the children participating in the LaLiga Promises tournament: "Follow your dream you can reach it".
