The Liga de Fútbol Profesional is repulsed by the incidents that took place on Sunday morning close to the Estadio Vicente Calderón in the build up to the Liga BBVA matchday 13 tie between Club Atlético de Madrid and RC Deportivo de La Coruña.
The LFP was firm in its intention to suspend the game, without it being possible. The institution is working alongside Aficiones Unidas (Fans United), the national police and all clubs and PLCs to eradicate violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in professional football.
