Have you ever wondered what teams do before they take to the pitch? What does the manager say to motivate his players? What rituals and superstitions do the players go through before kick-off?
La Liga TV reveals all the hidden secrets of the dressing room during the most important moments of a match, and it does so in a spectacular setting, the nineteenth staging of the Under-12 International La Liga Promises Tournament. An event organised by the Liga de Fútbol Profesional and the Fundación El Larguero. This year there are eight Spanish and four international teams taking part.
One of the home teams is Atlético Madrid. Watch the video to see what the players do during the moments leading up to the game. The Rojiblancos' manager, Paco Lobato, reminds his understudies of the basic pillars of the club's philosophy: "compete but with fairplay". Feel like one of them as they hang on his every word.
