Tenerife fights against breast cancer

Tenerife will support the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) for the second year in a row for World Breast Cancer Awareness Day by brandishing the AECC logo on its third strip, which is pink, against Ponferradina for matchday ten of the Liga Adelante campaign.

Furthermore, after Wednesday’s training session the first team players will help support the “Be part of the pink” campaign, which was launched by the Spanish outfit. As such, after being the first club to wear pink in support of this cause, the Canary Islanders continue with their commitment to helping people suffering from the disease.

It is also worth noting that a percentage of the revenue from sales of the jersey will go towards helping the AECC’s fight against cancer.
