One win separates UD Almería from SD Eibar, both teams are out of the relegation zone but they cannot afford to relax. The Andalusians are on 28 points, the same number as RC Deportivo, who are in the drop zone. Eibar are 15th on 31 points.
Team news
Almería will be without four players Fran Vélez, Míchel Macedo and Fernando Soriano, due to injury and Sebastián Dubarbier who is banned. Two reserve team players, Dani Romera and Charles Dias have come into the squad. The big news for the team is the return of Verza. Eibar are without Raúl Navas and Jaime Jiménez due to injury.
Thoughts from the dug out
Sergi Barjuan, the Almeria coach has described the game as the most "important" of the season. "We have to dominate at our stadium, a draw would be fine for them and we have to try and find a way to disrupt their style and manage time well" added Barjuan.
His opposite number, Gaizka Garitano, analysed his opponents: "When you have space to run, they overcome you with strength and speed. I hope we can be as superior as we were in the earlier game in the season but we are expecting the game to be more closed down and difficult".
