Spanish national team beat Slovakia 2-0 in the seventh game of qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2016 to be held in France. The goal scorers were Jordi Alba and Andres Iniesta from the penalty spot. The win puts Spain on top in Group C.

1. Into the game from the first minute
Although the first chance of the match came from Slovakian's side, Vicente Del Bosque´s players came out totally focused on the game and they showed it with the goal of Jordi Alba at 4 minutes, after great pass from David Silva.
2. Silva´s wide play
The player from the Canaries had an excellent performance throughout the match. In addition to the pass to Jordi Alba in the Spain first goal, Silva was present at all times of danger created by the national team. He gave freshness and movement to the Spanish attack and despaired the opponents.

3. Spain captured possession of the ball
The first half was marked by the Spanish possession of the ball: 84% versus 16% of Slovakia. In the second half, the Slovak team tried to react but Spain did not stop to create danger near the rival´s box and showed again their superiority in possession.
4. Iniesta scored his first penalty with Spain
Andres Iniesta made the 2-0 on the scoreboard after a penalty on Diego Costa. The "Manchego" player got his first goal with the national team from the penalty spot and raised his scoring account up to 13 goals.
5. Casillas celebrated his 100th captaincy with a great performance
The Carlos Tartiere Stadium of Oviedo chanted the name of Iker Casillas throughout the whole game. The goalkeeper responded to the fans with two great saves, which meant keeping a clean sheet the day he turned 100 matches as skipper.
