Real Betis managed to get a draw (1-1) against Villarreal CF in its return to Liga BBVA. Betis started losing after Roberto Soldado's goal for the visitors, but Ruben Castro appeared just in time to seal the equalizer in the last minute.
Intense start of the match
The first minutes of the match noted for its frenetic pace. Both, Betis and Villarreal, jumped onto the pitch with great intensity and both enjoyed chances to open the scoring in the first moments of the game. Léo Baptistão brushed the goal for Villarreal with a header after Samu Castillejo pass, while in Betis Cristiano Piccini was splendid, very active and sharp in attack.
Soldado's sweet debut

Betis never gave up and ended up finding his prize. Ruben Castro had to be, the hero of the promotion to Liga BBVA, who rescued a point for the Andalusians by taking advantage of a goalkeeper rejection.
