Following their 2-0 win over Real Betis in a thriller of a derby, Sevilla FC are back focussing all of their efforts on their favourite competition: the Europa League. Sevilla are bound for Ukraine to face FC Shakhtar Donetsk for the first leg of the semi-finals, with hopes of taking a big step towards securing their place in the final once again.
The Andalusian outfit are looking to continue to make history in a tournament which they have won on four occasions, two of those in the last two seasons. Unai Emery's men are determined to make it through to their third final in a row and defend their title.

Their opponents bring back good memories for Sevilla. In the 2006/07 season, when they ended up lifting the trophy, Sevilla knocked out Shakhtar with an epic victory in the round of 16. After a 2-2 draw in the first leg, a header by goalkeeper Andres Palop in injury time levelled the scores at 2-2 again, forcing the tie into extra time. Ernesto Chevanton went on to give Sevilla the victory.
Emery has named a 22-man squad for the match, the notable inclusions being Nico Pareja, Benoit Tremoulinas, Adil Rami and Vitolo. Jose Antonio Reyes, who underwent an operation for appendicitis, will miss out for Sevilla, whilst the Ukrainians will be without Marcio Azevedo (injured) and Fred (suspended).
