Team News:

- RC Celta: Carles Planas, Claudio Beauvue (injured); Hugo Mallo (suspended).

- Sevilla FC: Benoit Tremoulinas, Carlos Fernandez, Michael Krohn-Dehli, Daniel Carriço, Mariano and Sergio Escudero (all injured).

Match Facts:

Celta (11th, 21 pts)

- Balaidos has afforded plenty of home comforts so far this term, with Celta emerging victorious in the last five LaLiga Santander fixtures played on their own patch. Eduardo Berizzo's charges will be going all out to extend that run and match the six-game winning streak recorded in the 1997/98 campaign.

- After failing to find the net in their opening two league outings at Balaidos, Celta have put that drought firmly behind them, treating the home faithful to an average of three goals in each of their last five games.

- Iago Aspas is the name on everyone's lips in Vigo right now. The sharpshooter has notched nine goals so far this season, a return which makes him the second most prolific Spaniard across the five major European leagues, with only Diego Costa - who has 11 goals to his name - ahead of him in these standings.

Sevilla (3rd, 27 pts)

- The Andalusians will be intent on improving their record at Balaidos, where they have failed to claim victory since the 2006/2007 campaign. The four subsequent meetings have yielded two home wins, whilst the sides' latest encounters both ended in 1-1 stalemates.

- Sampaoli's men are the league's uncontested late-show specialists, having netted after the 85th-minute mark on no less than eight occasions.

- Another area in which the Europa League holders have excelled so far this term is on set pieces. The Sevillians lie joint-top with Valencia CF on goals scored from corners, with both sides having notched five goals from this source.
