The season did not begin in the best way for the team led by Unai Emery. During the first month of competition Sevilla FC wasn't capable to take off: five games with a record of two points, without achieving a victory and with only two goals scored.

However, the visit of Rayo Vallecano to the Sevilla stadium represented a turning point. The hard-fought victory achieved against the team from Madrid assured them the first three points of the campaign and gave them a boost of confidence to get back on track and meet the demand of the category.

Since then, Sevilla FC has won the following three matches that has played on its ground. And against rivals such as FC Barcelona (2-1), Getafe CF (5-0) and Real Madrid CF (3-2). That is, two of the most difficult visits of the championship resolved with great character and a comfortable and large win to fraternize with the fans. Twelve out of twelve points in total in front of them.

And if that were not enough, the new faces which have been incorporated to the squad this course have enjoyed an active role: the explosion of Ukrainian Konoplyanka, the great performance of Krohn-Dehli against Barcelona or the important goals of new strikers such as Llorente and Immobile, among other names.

This positive streak has put Sevilla FC away from the low positions of the table and enables them to face with optimism and enthusiasm the intense months to come.
