-Last time out it took an 87th-minute Casemiro goal to seal all three points for Zinedine Zidane's side at the Gran Canaria stadium. However, it was a below-par showing from the Blancos, in which they barely managed to fashion any openings. The hosts will be looking to get back to their best against the Andalusians.
-Since Zidane's appointment, Madrid have only been beaten once on home turf. Los Merengues will once again be looking for home advantage to work in their favour against the Sevillians. The Real Madrid squad list includes the returning Karim Benzema, who is enjoying his most prolific season since his arrival at the Bernabeu.
Sevilla FC (5th, 48 pts)
- Unai Emery side couldn't possibly be coming into this one in any better form. Last time out they got the better of one of their direct rivals for a European qualification spot, in Villarreal and in midweek they eased past FC Basel to seal their book their spot in the Europa League quarter-finals.
- Despite their fine recent form, the visitors are yet to have claimed victory an away victory so far this term and to make matters worse, they travel to Madrid without two of their key men: Ever Banega and Yevhen Konoplyanka. The former saw red last time out, whilst the Ukrainian midfielder misses out through injury.
