Sevilla FC saw off Granada CF 5-1 in the 13th round of Liga BBVA games. Carlos Bacca scored a double, while, Éver Banega, Stéphane M'Bia and Kevin Gameiro sealed the victory for Unai Emery’s men, who had been three without a win. Meanwhile Granada are now nine games without a win.
Sevilla took control of the ball and had the best chances in the first half. After Juan Carlos Pérez had saved a Carlos Baca effort earlier, he was helpless to stop the Colombian on 24 minutes from a corner. Although the home side continued to be dominant, Granada were able to level things up before the break thanks to a Youssef El Arabi penalty.
This goal did not change the game too much, and it was Sevilla who continued to enjoy the better chances. Eventually they got their reward on 65’ through Éver Banega. The Argentine’s initial effort hit the post, but he was quickest to react as he followed up to put his side ahead. This lifted Sevilla, who found the net three times in the last ten minutes through Bacca, M'Bia and Gameiro.
