Sevilla FC and Getafe CF will provide Sunday's first match at 12:00 in the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
The team from Seville will receive Getafe with seven absentees. Defenders Alberto Moreno, Cicinho, Nicolás Pareja and midfielder Denis Cheryshev will miss the game due to injury. They will be joined by centre-halves Diogo Figueiras and 'Cala' and midfielder Vicente Iborra who are all serving suspensions. On the other hand, midfielders Marko Marin, Carlos Fernández and M'Bia will be on 2014's first team-sheet. The manager, Unai Emery, admitted that his team needs to pick things up: "We have set out our goals in the league and we are looking to turn heads".
For their part, the side from Madrid travel to Seville with a full arsenal. Their coach, Luis García, recognised in a press conference that the Liga BBVA is currently at one of the most important stages of the season: "This is the phase in which you find out what you are fighting for". Getafe has not won on the road since its 0-2 victory against Villarreal CF on the 31st of October.
