Sevilla FC are off to Turin to play in the final of the UEFA Europa League against SL Benfica on Wednesday, with kick-off at 8.45 pm at the Juventus Stadium.

The sevillistas travel to the Italian city with all the desire of a newcomer, but with the experience of having won two consecutive UEFA Cups in the 2005/06 and 2006/07 seasons. Sevilla will aim to claim the title for the third time in their history. Their manager is without Jairo, through suspension, and Cristóforo and Cheryshev, both injured. “Every moment since August has been a dream and now we have to cross the finishing line”, said the manager Unai Emery in the pre-match press conference.

His counterpart in the Portuguese dugout, Jorge Jesus, has denied there is a favourite and believes that the final could go either way. “Neither team has reached the final as the favourite”, said the Benfina boss, who will be without Fejsa ni Sílvio, through injury, and Enzo Pérez, Salvio and Marković, due to suspension. The Lisbon club also wants to round off a great season in which they have already won the Liga Zon Sagres and the Portuguese League Cup.
