Granada CF continue their remarkable turnaround under coach José Ramón Sandoval by beating Real Sociedad 3-0 at Anoeta, with Youssef El Arabi, Robert Ibáñez and Rubén Rochina all getting on the scoresheet.

Granada's need for the points was evident in the first half, with the Andalusians playing a lot better than their opponents. A quiet opening few minutes soon gave way to an avalanche of chances for Granada. The lively Lass Bangoura had the first opportunity, trying his luck with a rasping drive, and then Rubén Rochina wasted two great opportunities to score. The clearest chance of the half came just before half-time, but Enaut Zubikarai was able to clear the danger. Real Sociedad had just one opportunity in the opening 45 minutes, with Granada goalkeeper Roberto saving Chory Castro's effort with few problems.

Real Sociedad improved after the break and could have taken the lead on a number of occasions, but Granada killed the game off in four incredible minutes. Youssef El Arabi finished off a counterattack to put the visitors ahead on 75 minutes and then four minutes later Robert Ibáñez further stretched their lead. With the three points firmly in the pocket of José Ramón Sandoval's side, Rochina scored a wonderful goal from just beyond the halfway line, rounding off a superb win. This is Granada's third win in a row under Sandoval, taking them on to 34 points, two above the relegation zone, with just one game left of the campaign.
