Roberto Soldado returns to LaLiga

"This is a very important step. I've been two years out in a place where I could not give my best, but I am convinced that I have many goals to give to Villarreal CF". With these words, Roberto Soldado was presented in his return to LaLiga, where he will be one of the emblems of the side from Castellon.

After two seasons in English football, the striker from Valencia returns to the best championship of the world with ambition and renewed hopes. Backed by more than 2,000 fans of the "castellonense" team, Soldado made clear his intentions on the day of his presentation: "I have regained the desire and enthusiasm to do great things. I hope to play at a good level and score many goals".

Despite the summer departures, Villarreal CF is building an exciting team for next season. After signing players like Samuel Garcia, Leo Baptistao or Samu Castillejo, Soldado becomes the perfect finale for the "amarillo" attack.
