Real Sociedad de Fútbol and Valencia CF will provide what looks to be one of the most attractive encounters of Liga BBVA matchday six.
The team from San Sebastián comes into the match on the back of two consecutive defeats against UD Almería and Sevilla FC, therefore they will be looking to get back to their best and pick up three points. They will be faced with a Valencia who are so far unbeaten and joint league leaders, level on points with FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC.
Team news
The Txuri-Urdin will be missing injured goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli and defenders Carlos Martínez and Yuri Berchiche. For the visitors, the Ché will make the trip without their forward Álvaro Negredo, who is still recovering from a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
Views from the dugout
"They are playing well at the moment. They have three really pacey players up front and a good midfield for a very complete team, but if we play as well as we can it will be tough for them", stated home manager Jagoba Arrasate. His counterpart at Valencia, Nuno Espírito Santo, was in a cautious mood: "We can be proud looking at the table, but we have to keep working harder every day. The euphoria is for the fans. Our job is concentration and hard work".
