Raul Gonzalez and TAG Heuer met at the Major League Soccer All-Star Game in San Jose, California, on Thursday.
During the match, TAG Heuer not only acted as official timekeeper, but also celebrated its partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS) in a deal that came just days after signing a sponsorship deal with LaLiga.
Raul Gonzalez, the current LaLiga country manager for the United States was in attendance at the match. Before kick-off, Raul joined MLS player Tommy Thompson in the #Don'tCrackUnderPressure challenge, in which football fans go head to head with the stars of the game in taking a series of shots on goal against the clock. Since December 2015, Raul Gonzalez has been LaLiga's top representative in the United States, and it is from his New York office that he oversees Spanish football and LaLiga's expansion project.

At the beginning of July, TAG Heuer was named LaLiga's new official timekeeper at an event inside Madrid's Royal Theatre, during which the Swiss watchmaker and the world's most important football league formalised their partnership. From August, when the new football season gets underway, TAG Heuer will keep time at every LaLiga match and a referee board in the shape of a TAG Heuer Connected watch will be used when substitutions are made. This partnership is a first in Spanish football, with a luxury watchmaker acting as both an official sponsor and timekeeper in one of the world's most prestigious football leagues.
