We review his stage in LaLiga through seven unforgettable moments in his career.

Liga BBVA debut

October 29, 1994. Raul debuted with 17 years in the ranks of Real Madrid. The Whites visited Real Zaragoza in La Romareda and Jorge Valdano decided to bet for the skillful striker who was breaking through in the second team.

First goal

A week after playing his first game with Real Madrid, Raul scored his first goal in Liga BBVA in the Madrid derby against Atlético de Madrid. A moment he will never forget.

'La Palanca' (The lever)

Top scorer in the history of Real Madrid

Real Madrid farewell

In summer 2010, after 16 seasons, Raul put the end to his career in LaLiga. He left Real Madrid with 228 goals under his belt and headed to Germany.

LaLiga´s Country Manager for US

After his retirement from football, Raul joined LaLiga again as Country Manager for the US on December 28, 2015. A new stage marked by the enthusiasm and work for the international expansion of the competition.
