Quique Gonzalez named LaLiga 1l2l3 Player of the Month for March

UD Almeria striker, Quique Gonzalez, has been named LaLiga 1l2l3 Player of the Month for March after notching up three goals in four games over the course of last month.

The Spanish forward's three strikes helped keep his team firmly in the battle for LaLiga 1l2l3 survival. He kicked off March with a goal in the 2-1 away win over CD Lugo and closed out the month with a brace against AD Alcorcon. Two goals that proved decisive in the win over a direct rival in the relegation battle.

This accolade - which is awarded by Banco Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by LaLiga.es writers - was presented by Jose David Fernandez Hernandez, Director for the province of Almeria.
