LaLiga will pay tribute to the best of the 2015/16 season, both in LaLiga Santander and in LaLiga 1|2|3 at the #PremiosLaLiga Gala, a ceremony which will be held on Monday 24 October at the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia (Valencia Conference Centre).
LaLiga will pay homage to the best performers last season through a total of 17 awards split into tan different categories that we bring you below.

The captains of every club voted for the best player in each position as well as the Best Coach in their corresponding division, although they were not able to vote for their own teammates or boss.
The winners of the LaLiga World Player awards in LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1l2l3 will be chosen by the public on https://www.laliga.es/en/ and Twitter. Users of the official LaLiga website can vote for their favourite players with a simple click after watching a video containing their highlights from last season. Voting opened on 7 October and will shut on Friday 21 October.
The Best Player accolade was put together using technical data from Media Coach, a video analysis tool developed by LaLiga and Mediapro that studies players at all 20 LaLiga Santander clubs. This groundbreaking system aims to improve team performance through analysis of matches and players alongside exhaustive statistics. Media Coach also allows for real-time in-game analysis and data extraction from every single LaLiga fixture.
The Fans' Five-Star Player award was created with the help of Mahou.es users who were able to vote for their favourite player on every LaLiga Santander matchday last year. There was a five-star voting system equating to five votes each week, which could be given to a single player or split between several LaLiga Santander stars.
