The Spanish under-21 manager, Julen Lopetegui, announced his squad ahead of the team’s qualifying matches for the 2015 UEFA Under-21 European Championships against Bosnia and Herzegovina (10th of October) and Hungry (14th of October).
Villarreal centre-back Pablo Íñiguez and Crystal Palace midfielder José Campaña are the most recent editions to the 20-man squad. One of the biggest absentees is Alberto Moreno, the Sevilla FC left-back, who got a call up to the Spanish squad by Vicente Del Bosque on Friday.
The Spanish under-21 side, European champion in 2011 and 2013, leads Group 4 and looks on course to qualify for the tournament in the Czech Republic after picking up wins in its opening two encounters.
