After relieving Enrique Martin of his duties, CA Osasuna have moved to announce the appointment of Joaquin Caparros as the club's new head coach, after the two parties agreed a deal which will see him remain at the helm until 30 June 2018.
Caparros is one of the most experienced coaches in the Spanish game, having previously managed RC Recreativo de Huelva, Villarreal CF, Sevilla FC, RC Deportivo, Athletic Club, RCD Mallorca, Levante UD and Granada CF, whilst also having coached Swiss outfit Neuchatel Xamax FCS.
The 61-year-old returns to LaLiga looking to steady the ship at Osasuna, who currently lie second bottom of the LaLiga Santander table with a record which reads one win, four draws and six defeats.
